Programmable Output Selector
The Programmable Output Selector allows MIDI messages to be routed to either of two MIDI outputs (OutA or OutB). All MIDI messages, or all MIDI messages except Note messages, can be routed to either of the MIDI outputs. Outputs are switched by a footswitch or contact closure connected to the 1/4" phone jack Fsw input, or by receipt of MIDI Program Change messages. The LED can be programmed to flash in different ways to indicate the state the device is in.
The factory default settings for the Programmable Output Selector are for it to toggle between sending all MIDI messages to OutA and all MIDI messages to OutB. The Programmable Output Selector is programmed by sending it MIDI System Exclusive messages. For a complete description of the programming options, see the Programmable Output Selector Operating Instructions. Once programmed, settings are retained even after power is removed. The Programmable Output Selector can be reprogrammed with new settings as often as needed.
The Programmable Output Selector is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most MIDI products.
